Mission
Hands and Feet of Jesus
Sojourner Care is on mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus, who is our refuge, strength, and present help in trouble. We provide community, advocacy, resources, and education for individuals who are sojourning in the greater Charleston area.
Equipping Sojourners.
We equip, educate, encourage, disciple, and befriend sojourners through projects designed to meet immediate needs and foster long-term growth.
The Help Desk
A collaborative, twice-monthly gathering where sojourner needs are identified, solutions are planned, and the community is mobilized to respond.
The Workshop
A creative gathering space where community members build community, explore faith, and learn practical skills through shared craft and conversation.
ETAS
Providing transportation and equipping neighbors to access driver training, navigate the DMV process, and build long-term independence.
ESL
An English learning community where language practice, relationship, and faith grow together. Offered on Tuesdays throughout the school year.
Soccer Stars
Promoting youth involvement, growth, and character through club soccer. We provide tuition, equipment, transportation, and mentorship.
Arise
Partnering with local ministries and businesses to provide mentorship, scholarship, and job training for teenagers and young adults.
